You steer a little green snake around a 20×20 board, munch the glowing red apples that pop up, and grow one segment longer with every bite. How to Play Pixel Snake

Tips and Strategy for a Higher Score
The biggest mistake new players make is chasing every apple in a straight line. That works while the snake is short, but once you have fifteen or twenty segments, a direct dash can trap you in a corner. Experienced players keep the snake moving along the outside of the board and sweep inwards in long, tidy rows. It looks slow, but it leaves a clear path back out and means your tail is always behind you rather than blocking your route.
Plan your turns one or two moves early, especially after the speed goes up. The game only lets you turn once per step, and you cannot reverse straight into yourself, so a quick double tap rarely does what you expect. If a golden apple appears in a dangerous spot, it is usually worth skipping it. Fifty points are not worth losing a run that could earn hundreds more.
