Each puzzle picks a theme such as Animals, Fruits, Space, Sports, Weather, Kitchen or Ocean, then hides eight matching words in a 10×10 grid of letters. Every grid is generated on the spot, so you will not see the same layout twice. A timer keeps track of how quickly you solve each one, and the game counts how many puzzles you have finished on your device. How to Play Word Search
- Look at the theme and the list of eight words beside the grid.
- Press on the first letter of a word and drag to the last letter, then let go.
- Words can go left to right, right to left, up, down or along any diagonal.
- A correct word is highlighted in colour and crossed off the list.
- Find all eight words to finish, then press New puzzle for another.
Tips for Finding Words Faster
Rather than reading the grid row by row, pick one word from the list and hunt for its rarest letter. Letters like K, Z, Q, W and Y appear far less often than vowels, so scanning for them narrows your search quickly. Once you spot the rare letter, check all eight directions around it for the next letter of the word.
Longer words are usually easier to find than short ones, because they take up more of the grid and are harder to hide. Start with the longest words on the list, then come back for the short three- and four-letter ones at the end, when fewer letters are left to check. And do not forget backwards words: they are the ones most players miss.
