Gravity Flip

About Gravity Flip

Gravity Flip is a free online endless runner with a twist: you cannot jump. Instead, one tap reverses gravity, sending your little cube flying up to run along the ceiling. Tap again and you fall back down to the floor. The tunnel scrolls forward on its own, and your job is to be on the right side at the right moment to avoid every obstacle.

Blue blocks stick up from the floor and pink blocks hang from the ceiling. There are also gaps in both the floor and the ceiling, and running into one means falling out of the tunnel. The further you go, the faster the run becomes, so the gaps between flips get shorter and your timing has to get sharper. Your distance is measured in metres, and your best run is saved.

How to Play Gravity Flip

  • Press Run. Your cube starts running along the floor automatically.
  • Tap the screen, click, or press Space to flip gravity.
  • You can only flip while touching the floor or the ceiling.
  • Avoid blue floor blocks and pink ceiling blocks by being on the opposite side.
  • Don’t run over a gap in the surface you are on.
  • Run as far as you can. The speed increases over time.

Tips and Strategy for Gravity Flip

Look ahead, not at your cube. Flipping takes a moment, so you need to start the flip before an obstacle reaches you. Watch the stretch of tunnel coming up and decide early which side you want to be on.

Don’t flip more than you need to. Each flip leaves you in the air for a short time, and you cannot flip again until you land. If the next few hazards are all on the same side, stay where you are and let them pass. At higher speeds, the safest rhythm is to flip as soon as a hazard on your side appears, rather than waiting until the last moment.
