About Tower Stack
Tower Stack is a free online one-tap stacking game. A block slides back and forth above your tower, and you tap to drop it. Any part of the block that hangs over the edge of the one below is sliced off and falls away, so the next block is narrower. Keep stacking as high as you can before your blocks become too thin to land.
Timing is everything. Land a block almost exactly on top of the last one and you get a PERFECT: no slice, extra points and a bright flash. Chain five perfect drops in a row and your block actually grows back a little. As the tower climbs, the blocks slide faster, the colours shift and the sky slowly darkens, making every new floor a little more exciting.
How to Play Tower Stack
- Press Play. A block starts sliding from the side.
- Tap the screen, click, or press Space to drop it.
- Overhanging parts are cut off, making the next block narrower.
- Line it up almost exactly for a PERFECT drop and bonus points.
- Five perfect drops in a row make your block grow wider again.
- Miss the tower completely and the game is over.
Tips and Strategy for Tower Stack
Watch the edge, not the whole block. Pick one edge of the sliding block and drop it as that edge lines up with the same edge of the block underneath. This is much more accurate than trying to judge the middle of the block.
Find a rhythm. The block slides at a steady speed, so after a few drops you can start to feel the timing instead of reacting to it. When the blocks speed up later on, it helps to tap slightly early rather than late. Small slices early in the game add up quickly, so it is worth slowing down and aiming for perfect drops in the first ten floors.
