About Letter Wheel

Letter Wheel is a free online word connect puzzle. A ring of letters sits at the bottom of the screen and a set of empty word slots sits above it. Swipe from letter to letter to spell a word, and if it is one of the hidden answers it drops into place. Find every word in the level to move on to the next one.

There are 20 hand-made levels. The first few use just three letters to help you get started, and later levels hand you six letters like GARDEN, PLANET or SILVER with seven or eight words to find in each. The empty slots show how long every missing word is, which is a useful clue in itself. Your progress is saved, so you can come back and carry on from the level you reached.

How to Play Letter Wheel

• Press on a letter in the wheel and drag across the other letters to spell a word, then let go.
• Slide back to the previous letter to undo it before letting go.
• Each letter can only be used once per word.
• Correct words fill their slots. Words already found or not in the puzzle are ignored.
• Press Shuffle to rearrange the letters and see new patterns.
• Press Hint to reveal a letter. You earn one new hint for every level you finish.

Tips for Solving Letter Wheel Puzzles

Look at the longest slot first. It usually uses every letter on the wheel, and once you find it, the shorter words are often hidden inside it. For example, the letters of HEART also spell EARTH, HEAT, HATE and TEAR.

If you get stuck, press Shuffle. Seeing the letters in a different order often makes a word jump out that you could not spot before. Try common word endings like -S, -ED and -ER, and common pairs like TH, ST and CH. Save your hints for the last one or two words in a level, when you have already tried the obvious answers.
