Kart Circuit is a free online top-down racing game where you take on three rival karts in a three-lap race. The whole track is laid out in front of you, a twisting circuit of fast straights, tight hairpins and sweeping S-bends, with red and white kerbs marking the edges. Wait for the countdown, hit the gas on GO and try to cross the chequered line first.

Every rival drives a little differently. The blue kart is the most careful, the red one is quicker, and the purple kart is the fastest of the three and will punish any mistake. The track’s tarmac is grippy and fast, but the moment your wheels touch the grass you lose speed, so clean lines matter more than raw pace. Your fastest lap is saved, so there is always a time to beat even when you win.

How to Play Kart Circuit

• Press Race and wait for the 3-2-1 countdown.
• On a keyboard, use Up / W to accelerate, Down / S to brake or reverse, and Left / Right or A / D to steer.
• On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen buttons: ▲ gas, ■ brake, ◀ ▶ steer.
• Stay on the grey tarmac. Driving on the grass slows your kart down a lot.
• Complete three laps. Your position, lap and race time are shown at the top.
• Bumping into other karts pushes you apart and costs a little speed.

Tips and Strategy for Kart Circuit

Brake before a corner, not in the middle of it. Ease off or tap the brake as you approach a tight bend, steer through it, then get back on the gas as the track straightens out. Going into a hairpin at full speed almost always ends on the grass, and that costs far more time than a short brake.

Use the whole width of the track. Swing wide on the way into a corner, cut close to the inside kerb at the middle of it, and drift back out wide as you leave. This classic racing line lets you carry more speed through every bend. Overtaking is easiest on the long straights, so stay close behind a rival through the corners and then pass them when the road opens up.
